Benedicte Schoyen, owner of Born to Play Productions. Creator/Executive producer and Choreographer of Music Box—DVD/TV shows.
Benedicte Schoyen, born and raised in Oslo, Norway. She used to own Santa Monica Dance Studio which became one of the largest studios in the Los Angeles Area throughout the 12 years she was running the business. Now she is teaching at the Musical Theater program at UCLA.
Bendicte was educated at the Norwegian Opera Ballet School. She danced professionally for ten years both in Europe and in the US, before she opened her own dance studio. For the past seven years she has choreographed and staged the "Eurovision Song Contest for Children" for the Norwegian Broadcasting, with international finales in Norway, Belgium, Sweden and Denmark.
She has years of experience working with children 3 years and up, and the idea of the Music Box concept was born at the end of 2005. She is married to Ned Clark, composer for Music Box.

Stein Gausereide, Owner of Gausst Inc. Real-Time Visual Effects. Co-Creator/Executive Producer and VFX Supervisor of The Music Box.
Stein Gausereide began his career in 1996 working for TV2 Norway where he was introduced to real time 3d graphics. He moved to London in 1997 working for leading visual effects facilities The Moving Picture Company and Double Negative as a 3D Animator. In early 2000 Stein co-started Vizrt London, the UK branch of the world’s leading real-time graphics company Vizrt, working as a Project Manager with clients such as ITN and Sky Sports. In London Stein initiated and pioneered a Vizrt product; ‘Viz-Fx’ for the film market. In 2003 he worked on 'Red Riding Hood' with Director Randal Kleiser (Grease) - the first known feature film ever shot entirely with on-set real-time composite preview and camera data recording. In 2004 Stein set up the Vizrt Los Angeles office, signing up and working with clients such as KABC, KCBS and DirecTV. In 2006 he founded real time visual effects company Gausst Inc. Gausst has been involved with high profile companies and projects such as a FedEx’ Super Bowl commercial, Good Morning America, Comedy Central’s Mind of Mencia, Blue Man Group and most recently the currently in production Paul Greengrass feature film “Green Zone” (Working Title/Universal). Kristin Proctor (producer) is a professional actress. Trained at Harvard University and The Moscow Art Theatre School in Russia as well as Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, she has performed all over Europe and the US. Kristin was recently seen guest starring on Entourage and "Cold Case"and has previously had a recurring role on HBO's critically acclaimed drama "The Wire". Born in Los Angeles and raised in Norway she comes from an artistic family. As a child she worked on kids television projects at Norwegian Broadcasting with her mother Barbro Semmingsen and as an adult she has shared the stage with her father voice over actor/funny man Phil Proctor. www.kristinproctor.com |

Ned Clark (music/composer) has been playing and writing music all his life. With a background in piano, violin, guitar and voice, he graduated from the California Institute of the Arts with a BFA in music. While there he studied and performed African, Indonesian and Persian music. Since graduating, he has played in a variety of bands around California, from funk to bluegrass. He is currently working on an album of Mexican songs, with his mother singer Bambi McCormick. For Music Box, Ned worked with Isaac Sprintis. |

Haavard "Howie" Arnstad (director) - A native Norwegian, Howie got his master degree in film directing from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. His hobby, downhill skiing, brought him to his fisrt job out of school, he worked as a cinematographer, editor and co-director for ski-film production company Wind-Up Films. The latest release "The Bolero Project" was distributed in 250 000 copies worldwide. While in Salt Lake he also directed the documentary film "The Old Man Of The Mountain", which has aired both in Norway and the United States. Howie now lives in Oslo, Norway where he directs music videos, commercials and promos for companies such as Norwegian Broadcasting. |

Paal Bugge Hagenrud (director of photography) has been a film/video DP for over 20 yrs. He has worked on numerous documentaries and tv shows as well as feature films in Norway. He has also worked on countless commercials and promos for the major television stations in Norway (NRK, TV2). While residing in Los Angeles, Paal worked as a camera operator on shows such as "The District" and "Tracey Takes on" and features such as "One Night at McCools", "Training Day" and "The Fast and the Furious". In 1994 Paal received an Emmy for his work on the Official Olympic film of Lillehammer, Norway. |

Hans Mills (illustrator) Another fellow Scandinavian, Hans grew up in Denmark. He moved to San Francisco and attended San Francisco State University, graduating with a BA Fine Arts. He later earned his MFA in Computer Arts from The Academy of Art College, with emphasis on 3D modeling and Animation. After graduating, Hans has worked as a freelance graphic designer, animator and graphic artist for companies such as Compaq, Mervyn's, Amazon and Genentech to name a few. Terje Lindberg (screen writer) is currently working as a dramaturg and artistic consultant for NRK (Norwegian Broadcasting). He is a Cand Philol graduate of NTNU and has worked at theatres all over Norway as a dramaturg, translator, writer and director. He just finished a 4 year stint at one of Oslo's major theaters "Den Nationale Scene", where he directed work by Henrik Ibsen and served as a dramaturg for a number of productions including work by Lars Noren, Franz Kafka, Bertholt Brecht and William Shakespere to name a few. As well as the children favorites "Ronja" and "Pippi Long Stocking" by Astrid Lindgren. |

Alberta Soranzo (web and e-commerce producer/developer) The latest addition to the team, Alberta grew up in Milano, Italy. In Italy she co-owns a marketing and art sponsorship agency, but her true interest has always been technology and information architecture. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has been working at UCLA—as a Digital Media Lab manager and instructor initially, and more recently as webmaster and systems administrator.
